"By Appointment Only"

The Avon Park VITA site offers free tax preparation help to anyone who needs it - with special attention to those who are 50 or older or have low to moderate income.

We are open year-round (by appointment only) to assist you with your tax issues. This free service includes preparation of returns at the end of granted extensions, late filings for 2024 or other past years, amended returns for the tax years 2024, 2023, 2022, and 2021. We can also assist with questions you may have regarding correspondence received from the IRS or any state taxing authorities. TAX SEASON APPOINTMENT INSTRUCTIONS:

During Tax Season: Please make your appointment in person in Grogan Hall at the church Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Beginning January 21st. For those out of the area, you may call 863-452-7641 to make an appointment. Leave a message and we will return your call.
